How Moonpreneur Ranks STEM Schools: Our Evaluation Criteria

To ensure our rankings are objective, we rely on hard data from the U.S. Department of Education and other reliable government sources. We don’t guess; we calculate.

Our formula is transparent and “skewed” toward excellence in the areas that matter most:

1. Math Performance (60% Weightage)

We believe Math is the language of the future. It is the bedrock of coding, engineering, and data science. Because of this, 60% of our total rating is derived from Math scores. By tilting our ranking so heavily toward Math, we provide a clearer picture of a school’s STEM health than any other platform.

2. Student-Teacher Ratio (20% Weightage)

Even the best curriculum fails without proper support. A lower student-teacher ratio means more personalized attention, allowing educators to mentor students through complex STEM projects. We use this as a key indicator of the learning environment’s quality.

3. Aggregated Expert Opinions (20% Weightage)

We don’t work in a vacuum. We take into account the ratings of other reputable agencies and the lived experiences of students and parents. By incorporating data from sources like Niche, U.S. News & World Report, and GreatSchools, we add a layer of peer-reviewed validation to our technical analysis.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
